COVID-19 Office Updates

Both of our offices are now open for all eye care services!

Our current hours for BOTH offices are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 am – 5 pm

Thursday 11 am – 7 pm

Saturday 9 am - 4 pm

For questions, please call our Old Saybrook office at (860) 388-9300 or our Rocky Hilly office at (860) 258-2380 and leave a message with your name, date of birth, phone number and reason for your call. With our limited staffing, we are working to return all messages within 48 hours.


In order to maintain the highest levels of safety for our patients and staff, we have established the following guidelines. We ask that all patients coming to the office are healthy, and have been symptom-free for at least two weeks. All patients and staff will be required to wear a face mask while in the office. Until further notice, only the scheduled patient will be allowed to enter the office. Exceptions will be made if the patient is a minor child or a companion is necessary for mobility or communication purposes. Due to social distancing requirements, the waiting room will have a limited number of chairs.

We continue to make new improvements to our offices to help keep our doctors, staff, and patients safe. There are new breath-shields, plexiglass dividers, air-purifying plants, antimicrobial medical scrubs, facemasks, and exam room antiviral air purifying systems. We have established new maximums for the number of persons allowed within the building at a time and limited the number of patient appointments to allow for proper office cleaning between appointments. We also added all-new online paperwork that will be emailed to you when you book your appointment to limit your time in the office.


Appointments will be offered on a priority basis to patients whose appointments were canceled during the temporary shut-down. Our doctors and staff are working diligently through a significant wait-list, and we kindly ask that anyone unable to keep their appointment contact our offices so we can offer that appointment time to another patient.

Our new financial policy requires a credit card to hold a patient reservation. A charge will only be processed in the event of a patient not calling to cancel an appointment or not showing up for a scheduled appointment. Given the current pandemic, we are waiving our normal 24-hour cancellation policy. When booking your appointment, please provide your vision and medical insurance card information, to allow benefits to be verified in advance of your appointment.
